Setting Up Windows 98

1. Double click on My Computer
2. Double click on Dial-Up Networking.
3. Double click on the Name New Connection icon
4. Type in SAMOATELCO for the connection name and click Next
5. Leave the area code field blank, and type in one of the following numbers, 6338000, 6448000, 6998000 (Only one telephone #)
6. Click Finish.
7. An icon will appear that says SAMOATELCO, right click on this icon and choose properties.
8. In the window that opens, uncheck [Use area code and Dialing Properties], and then click the [server Types] tab.
9. On the Server Types Tab, uncheck all the boxes EXCEPT for TCP/IP.
10. Click OK. Place an icon on your desktop if you like.
11. Close all windows.
