| How to configure your Samoatelco Internet |
Windows XP Click on the [Start] button, go to the [All programs], [Accessories], [Communications], and select [New Connection Wizard],
2) If this is the first time you've set up a dial-up account, a [Location Information] screen will appear (if not, skip to step 5), Fill out the information on this screen accourdingly, If in doubt, just fill in 684 area code. 3) Click [OK]. 4) On the [Phone and Modem Options] screen, click [OK]. 5) On the [New Connection Wizard] screen, click [Next].
6) Select [Connect to the Internet]. 7) Click [Next].
8) Select [Setup my connection manually]. 9) Click [Next].
10) Select [Connect using a dial-up modem]. 11) Click [Next].
12) In the field labeled [ISP Name], type in "Samoatelco". 13) Click [Next].
14) In the field labled [Phone Number], enter one of the following: 6338000, 6448000, or 6998000. (Enter only one number).
15) Click [Next]. 16) In the field labeled [User name], enter your samoatelco.com login name (If you do not remember, call the Internet department) 17) In the field labeled [Password], enter your password. (Password must contain letters and numbers). 18) in the field labeled [Confirm Password], enter your password again. 19) Click [next].
20) If you'd like a shortcut added to your desktop, click [Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop] and click [Finish].
21) Click [Start], go to [Connect to], and select [Samoatelco], (You can also double-click the [Samaotelco] icon on your desktop if you choose to add it.
